Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail - Very Large Specimen

    The specimen pictured above measures 82.8 mm. was found by this reporter in the roadside swale along the east side of US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida on 3/2/2018. It is the largest living Euglandina ever found by this reporter, and including empty shells, the fourth largest specimen ever found. Collected by William M. Frank.
