Daedalochila auriculata Shells From Near Turnbull Creek Bridge 8/1/2009

    The three living specimens were maintained in captivity for a period of one month. By the end of the period the juvenile specimen (pictured bottom, left) had formed a rudimentary adult lip despite being fed solely a diet of Romaine lettuce (see images).
