Daedalochila auriculata Eggs And Apparent Parent

The pictured eggs were discovered beneath vegetation in the roadside swale along County Road 13 0.5 miles north northeast of Bass Haven Lane (GPS: 29.55430N 081.34320W - WGS-84 Datum) on 1/17/2010. Suspecting that the specimen that deposited the eggs might be nearby, the adjacent vegetation was closely inspected and the illustrated Daedalochila auriculata was discovered only inches away.
