Daedalochila peninsulae (Pilsbry, 1940) St. Johns Liptooth In Duval County, Florida

    Thus far this species has been found at three widely separated locations in Duval County which are depicted on the map below. Those locations include Baldwin in the extreme western portion of the county [1] (10/6/1979), along railroad tracks near Ortega Forest Drive [2] (3/5/1977), and in the roadside swale on Old St. Augustine Road near the headwaters of Julington Creek [3] in the extreme southern portion of the county(6/6/2010). The only living specimens that have been found were in Baldwin during 1979.
