Amphidromus floresianus Fulton, 1896 Group

    Sumba Island, East indonesia. 40-48 mm., rather large for a Syndromus. Photo shows specimens with and without periostracum. Amphidromus floriesianus usually has a black or very dark purple lip.

Amphidromus latestrigatus Schepman, 1892

    Eastern Sumba Island, Indonesia. About 36 mm., a little smaller than A. floresianus and the lip is usually deep red/purple but sometimes white. Amphidromus latestrigatus and A. floresianus may be forms of the same species.
