    Dissected from the digestive tract of a batfish trawled in 140 ft., 55 mi. E. Ponte Vedra, St, Johns Co., Florida by scallop boat 3/88 (3.52 mm.). Scanning electron micrograph performed under the auspices of the Dept. of Invertebrates of the United States National Museum with the excellent technical assistance of Ms. Yolanda Villacampa.

Lee from 500 mL (2 cupfuls) unsieved grunge from within larger shells taken from a renourishment site on Phipps Ocean Park Beach, Palm Beach, Palm Beach Co., FL by Carole Marshall in April, 2021.
