| Although no Vokesimurex rubidus were seen in the area, the species is not uncommon locally and the egg mass illustrated below is believed to have been deposited by that species. See: Beatrice E. Winner's 1987 "A Field Guide To Molluscan Spawn," Volume I, pages 91-92. |
