Pomacea canaliculata (Lamarck, 1822) With Leech And Juvenile Leeches |
| Pictured below is a specimen with an unidentified leech attached that was collected in the drainage ditch just south of the concrete box culvert on 8/27/2005. At the time of collection the leech was not feeding on the Pomacea but it did appear to sheltering juvenile leeches on its ventral surface (see bottom image below). |
