    Buried in sand at the base of granite boulder of the south St. Johns River Jetty, Mayport Naval Station Beach, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, April, 2011. While empty or crabbed shells of this species are well represented in the wrack line in northeast Florida, living specimens are rarely found.
