Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Predator Damage (Two Shells)

From the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.3 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 2/12/2021. Top image shows the shell pile as found. It was not present on the previous day. Over a two day period (2/11-12/2021) three widely separated piles of freshly crushed and partially devoured Euglandina shells (four specimens) were found. For whatever reason the predator did not consume the entire snail.
