In vegetation, roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.4 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 11/4/2021. It is uncertain what caused the fatal damage to this snail. It is believed that it may have been struck by a mower when the roadside swale was mowed on 11/3/2021.  However, predation by a warm blooded mammal also cannot be ruled out.
