Mesodon thyroidus (Say, 1817) White-lip Globe Up A Tree

    On small tree about three feet above the ground, Little Black Creek flood plain, County Road 220 (Doctors Inlet Road), Clay County, Florida, 6/20/2020. In times of flood the species climbs trees to escape rising water. However, in this particular instance no abnormal high water level was present.
