Lee in collaboration with Dr. Ann Heatherington, Dept. Geological Sciences, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. Although not confirmed, the bottom juvenile specimen is believed to also be S.  texasianus. The internal lamellae, some of which are not seen in the aperture of adult shells, are clearly visible.
