| This Snowy Egret was photographed as it prowled the shoreline at Vilano Beach (St. Augustine Inlet), St. Johns County, Florida on 5/16/2007. The little guy was so enthused about the presence of the small fish in the area that it pretty much ignored the approaching photographer. The species is especially common at this location as it offers diverse feeding opportunities which are lacking in other nearby areas. |
