Cymatium (Ranularia) turtoni (E. A. Smith, 1890)

    Garcia-Talavera (1987) believed the unique specimen upon which this species is based to be an aberrant example of Cymatium parthenopeum (von Salis, 1793). Since the latter species is essentially circumglobal in distribution, this is quite possible, and some authorities have indicated agreement with this synonymy.
