    Pictured below is a one day old hatchling. The hatchling, measuring ca. 0.5 mm. in maximum diameter, was hatched in captivity from an egg deposited by an adult Striatura meridionalis found in debris accumulated around a concrete culvert along Harrison Fork Road, Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, Nelson County, Kentucky 2/24/2017.
