Probably Albunea catherinae Mole Crab |
| This Mole Crab was found partially buried in the sand at Big Talbot Island State Park (Nasau Sound), Duval County, Florida on February 26, 2007. Although several species of Mole Crabs are found in northeast Florida, other than the abundant Emerita talpoidea widely collected by fisherman for use as bait, they are not usually encountered. Crab shell length is about 35 mm. |
