Aplidium stellatum Sea Pork

    This Sea Pork, a colonial tunicate that forms tough colonies in a variety of colors, was photographed by Joel Wooster at Matanzas Inlet, St. Johns County, Florida on 1/10/2009. The species is commonly found on rocks, pilings, and other available substrate inside the inlets of northeast Florida.
