Bursatella leachii pleii Rang, 1828 Ragged Seahare

    Uncommonly found beached in northeast Florida, the Ragged Sea Hare appears rather unimpressive out of its watery habitat. However, as the bottom image graphically illustrates, its appearance changes significantly once it's returned to more familiar surroundings.
