Deroceras laeve (Müller, 1774) Meadow Slug

On 7/26/2019, Mrs. Lori Schroeder's cat Piper came into the house and one small live Deroceras laeve was found entangled in her fur. Lori, who lives in Bardstown, Kentucky, removed the hitchhiking duo and placed them in a makeshift terrarium. On 9/18/2019 Lori discovered that one of the slugs had deposited a single egg. The egg was then closely monitored and a healthy juvenile Deroceras hatched on 9/23/2019.
