Florida Red-bellied Turtle [Pseudemys nelsoni]
    This Florida Red-bellied Turtle was photographed on the shoreline of Lake Oneida on the campus of the University of North Florida in southeastern Duval County, Florida on February 28, 2005. The illustrated specimen was one of several of similar size that appeared to be enjoying the balmy February weather.
