Pickerelweed [Pontederia cordata]
This pair of Pickerelweed plants were photographed along the shoreline of a lake on the campus of the Florida State College Jacksonville South Campus in southeastern Duval County, Florida on 5/10/2006 . Although not common at the campus lake, the species is frequently found at other north Florida impoundments.
