Unidentified Dragonfly |
| This dragonfly, which was having a bad day, was photographed in an urban residential area of eastern Duval County, Florida on 11/01/2004. The specimen had blundered into a large spider web and, when found, was alternately hanging upside down (as pictured below) or flying in circles on its "tether." Fortunately for the Dragonfly, the creator of the web was nowhere to be found. After being photographed, the "tether" was severed by the photographer and the specimen was given its freedom. |
