Daedalochila bicornuta (Pilsbry, 1900) Topotype

Selected topotype of Daedalochila bicornuta (Pilsbry, 1900) Two-horn Liptooth. Low open grassy area (recently bush-hogged), E. side CR 597 (Shoal Lane Blvd.) 0.9 mi N. CR 595. This station is 3.1 mi N. N. E. of modern-day Aripeka, but, more importantly, ~ 2.5 mi N. N. E. of George Pine's hypothetical residence near the 1900 site of the Aripeka Post Office, where he was employed at the time he sent the type lot to H. A. Pilsbry. Since the type locality is "Aripeka, Hernando Co., Florida," we take this locality to be topotypical. Collected by H. Lee on 3 May, 2009 (12.8 mm.).
