Orange Form

      Phil Poland recently came across this large (about 100 mm.) specimen in the Florida Keys with two nearly full-sized opercula. While pulling the snail, he thought he had broken its operculum but then discovered that the snail in actuality had two opercula. The photograph below shows the foot with its two very distinct attachment points.
