Musculium transversum (Say, 1829) Long Fingernailclam

    Dead in small dry creek (headwaters of Turnbull Creek) on International Golf Parkway about 1.15 miles east of Interstate 95, St. Johns County, Florida 12/26/2008. The species was abundant at this location. The clams are pictured with a pair of planorbids (image, upper right) which were collected at the same station.
