Sinistral Bradybaena similaris (Férussac, 1821)

    Sinistral specimen (on L; 11.1 mm.) represents a sinistral strain propagated in the laboratory of Dr. Takahiro Asami, Dept. of Biology, Shinshu Univ., Matsumoto, Japan. Much pioneering research on the biologic impact of chiral reversal has been published by Dr. Asami and his colleagues using snails of this lineage. Ex T. Asami, 12/14/ 2008.
