Unidentified Mollusk Veliger (possible member of the Atlantidae) |
| The mollusk pictured below was photographed by Suzan Meldonian while SCUBA diving at a depth of about 30 feet off Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida on 6/27/2015. During the dive Ms. Meldonian was conducting a "black water dive" in water 400 feet deep during which she drifted with the current at depths of between 40 feet and the surface with the goal being to photograph the larval fish, jellies, etc. that come up from the depths to feed.
