Pomacea canaliculata Hatchlings

     These Pomacea canaliculata hatchlings, shown aggressively feeding on a piece of iceberg lettuce, are but a few of hundreds hatched in a small home aquarium from two egg clutches obtained from the lake/retention pond on 7/27/2005. The juveniles were photographed on 8/3/2005 and measured about 1.5 mm.
