| The sea bottom/current anomaly at an area of the beach known as "The Poles" can at times produce an impressive wrack line. In this particular instance (below) a vast majority of the shells were of two species - Scapharca brasiliana (Lamarck, 1810) and Dosinia discus (Reeve, 1850). However, the composition can vary considerably based upon the time of year. |
