Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail - Large Specimen

Empty shell found buried in mud in the roadside swale along the west side of US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 12/20/2019 (69.7 mm.). The top image shows the shell when initially found while the bottom image shows the specimen after cleaning. The large crack may be the result of being run over by a tractor during contractor swale mowing operations.
