Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Predation On Polygyra septemvolva Say, 1818

    This 68.0 mm. specimen was found deceased and partially devoured, apparently the victim of cannibalism, in the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.2 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida on 1/31/2020. The remaining animal was later extracted/dissected and found to have two fresh Polygyra septemvolva in its gut. Also see: Euglandina rosea Rosy Wolfsnail Cannibalism.
