Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail - Large Specimen

    Empty shell In the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 8/30/2018 (67.7 mm.). It's uncertain whether the specimen sustained the extensive shell damage while it was alive or whether it occurred post mortem such as during routine mowing of the roadside swale.
