| This young Eastern Spadefoot Toad was photographed at night in a residential area in southeastern Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 6/4/2007. The disturbed state of the Florida Leatherleaf [Leidyula floridana] slug pictured in the foreground, as well as the dried grass and soil in the toads mouth, suggests that the two had a recent interaction of some form. |
