    The 50 mm. specimen pictured below in situ was found along the shoreline of a retention pond at the U. S. Postal Service bulk mail center, 7415 commonwealth Avenue, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 5/14/2017. The image inset, top left, shows the chitinous jaws extracted from the specimen and the inset, top right, shows the jaws posed atop the shell for size comparison.
