Deroceras laeve (Müller, 1774) Feeding On Deceased Earthworm

    These specimens pictured below were discovered feeding on a deceased earthworm on a concrete driveway in southeastern Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 4/2/2013. Other local terrestrial species that have been observed feeding on deceased earthworms include Bradybaena similaris (Férussac, 1821) Asian Tramp Snail and Allopeas gracile (Hutton, 1834) Graceful Awlsnail.
