    After being collected in St. Marys, the adult snail was transported to Florida and placed in a scrub bucket. The night of 4/15-16/2021 the snail deposited a single egg clutch on the side of the bucket. The egg clutch was monitored daily and on 5/17/2021 the first eggs of the clutch began hatching. The image below, with inset, shows one of the early hatchlings discovered on 5/17/2021.
