    Collected in a grassy area of a vacant lot on Bay Crest Lane in West Tampa, Hillsborough Co., Florida by Wayne Sullivan in 10/84. Maximum diameter of mature shells 10.5 to 12.1 mm., median 11.4 mm.; n = 15.

    After a considerable period of study involving many large series of specimens from various parts of the Florida peninsula, Dr. Lee has concluded that the shells of the snails in this colony fall within the range of variability of D. uvulifera.
