    Buried in sand just south of the St. Johns River Jetty, minus tide, Mayport Naval Station Beach, Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida 4/13/2012. Shortly after being photographed, the specimen was devoured by a hungry captive Busycotypus spiratus (Lamarck, 1816) Pear Whelk.
