    This Common Buttonbush flower was photographed along the shoreline of a lake at Florida State College Jacksonville south campus in southeastern Duval County, Florida on 7/25/2007. The butterfly feeding on the flower is a Gulf Fritillary [Agraulis vanillae] - one of the most common butterfly species found in northeast Florida.
