Subulina octona (Bruguière, 1792) Miniature Awlsnail In Situ

    Under small piece of wood in grass immediately adjacent to the parking lot for Building 500, Samuel Wells Medical Complex, Samuel Wells Road, southeastern Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida 2/24/2017 (about 15-16 mm.). The species is abundant at this location. This is the first time that this exotic species has been recorded from northeast Florida.
