| This moribund Crowned Slug Moth caterpillar, about 15 mm. in overall length, was discovered on this reporters patio in southeastern Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 8/22/2008 following the passage of Tropical Storm Fay. Following its death, the specimen lost its green coloration. |
