Bradybaena similaris (Férussac, 1821)

    Beneath small log adjacent to the roadside swale along Haines Street, downtown Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, 3/23/2017 (17 mm.). This is the largest living specimen that this reporter has collected in northeast Florida during two decades of field surveys. A few similar sized empty shells have been found but none of them exceeded 17 mm. in maximum diameter.
