Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Feeding On Bulimulus sporadicus

The pictured Euglandina rosea was collected in hurricane tossed wrack on the east bank of the St. Johns River along County Road 13 in far west St. Johns County, Florida on 10/27/2017 and maintained in a makeshift terrarium. Several exotic Bulimulus sporadicus (d’Orbigny, 1835) were subsequently collected in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida and introduced to the ever hungry Euglandina. The images below show the gluttonous Euglandina feeding on the Bulimulus.
