Bradybaena similaris (Férussac, 1821) Hatching

    Several adult Bradybaena similaris were collected in Central Florida during March, 2015 and taken into captivity. While in captivity the snails deposited a number of egg clutches which subsequently hatched about 16 days after they were deposited. The images below show some of the hatching activity. The images were obtained through use of a microscope by Lori Schroeder.
