Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) In Situ Feeding On A Probable Polygyra

    The pictured Euglandina rosea was found in the roadside swale along US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway in northern St. Johns County, Florida on 1/12/2019 feeding on a probable Polygyra septemvolva Say, 1818 [Florida Flatcoil]. The Euglandina was not disturbed thus positive identification of the prey snail was not possible.
