Amphidromus perversus butoti Laidlaw and Solem, 1961

Endemic to Kangean Island, Indonesia and it’s satellite islands. This subspecies was named because the shell is so shiny it almost looks like glass, and the colors are extremely vivid. There are probably a couple of different colonies on the island and at least one satellite island  has a colony. Several already named color forms can be found in these populations.
