Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail - Large Specimens

    This contrasting pair were taken into captivity from different locations in the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.3 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida on 1/21/2021 (dark colored specimen 71.6 mm. and 70.2 mm. for the light colored specimen). En-route from the collection site to their new home the pair took advantage of the situation and proceeded to mate (top image).
