Triodopsis species "Florida Scrub Threetooth" With Eggs

During the morning of 5/6/2013 two living Triodopsis and several empty shells, including the live specimen pictured below, were collected at Camp Blanding and placed in a small container. Upon arrival back in Jacksonville several hours later, two eggs were found in the container. By the next afternoon the egg count had increased to five; including the four pictured below. It's uncertain whether one or both of the living snails were involved in the egg laying. The eggs were retained and monitored for a period of one month and no hatching occurred thus indicating that they were not fertile.
