Amphidromus xiengensis Morlet, 1891

    Always sinistral, several color patterns. Base color white to tan to yellow. Most forms have a double row of dark subsutural bands, sometimes with a reddish band in between. Some forms have dark axial bars, often interrupted into dots or dashes, sometimes appearing as longitudinal lines or bars.  Many of these same color patterns can be seen on related species from SE Asia through Indonesia and the Philippines. Average size is between 25 and 30mm. Range Thailand and probably much of SE Asia. Below illustrated specimens are from Chiangmai Province, Northern Thailand.
